MY JESUS

MY JESUS is a teaching tool employed by Sangtuary that allows us to study the valuable lessons of Jesus while applying them to Social Gospel initiatives that lessen the harm of poverty, addiction, crime, discrimination against race, faith and sexual orientation, global warming, access to quality education and the collateral damages of war. As a music centered religious organization, the “My Jesus” tool is amplified through the power of live music, music education and programs that are Gospel based.

The foremost “My Jesus” of Sangtuary is the “Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself Jesus”. It is through this lens that we focus our initiatives for the community and beyond. The many incarnations of Jesus provide a multitude of valuable lessons. “Table Flipping Jesus” rallies us against a greedy and corrupt economy. “First Stone Jesus” teaches us that we must exercise individual responsibility instead of hypocritical condemnation, for none of us is without fault. These lessons provide valuable insight for both young and old.
